Sharing Your Story - Your “Why”
We work with staff and board to finetune each individual’s connection to the mission, with a goal of being able to deliver your “why” succinctly and in a way that connects your story directly to the mission of the organization. It provides an opportunity to pivot from a personal story that builds rapport with the listener into the focus of the organization and why you need support. This can be done individually, as a group, or some combination of the two.
Galas and Events
Our team will help you build and stretch when it comes to creating your gala. We offer helpful tools and insights for making a successful ask and collecting the most dollars from the room as you can. We can assist in the following ways:
Auctioneer/Raise the Paddle/Fund-a-Need
Producing the entire event
Cultivating asks for in-the-room gala success
Board involvement at galas
House Parties/Smaller Events
Individual Giving/Major Donor Strategy
Do you struggle to cultivate relationships with your donors and prospects effectively? Is retention a challenge? Do you need guidance on building systems and portfolios, setting up the right cadence of outreach, or the right strategy for a major gift ask? Let us build a plan that works for your organization and that will help attract and retain donors!
Successful Celebrity Partnerships
Have an idea of an exciting partnership you’d like to build with a celebrity, but need help cultivating the relationship? Or maybe you have an existing relationship but aren’t sure of the potential strategies you could set in motion. Celebrity partnerships are most successful when it raises awareness of your brand, and gives the celebrity an opportunity to showcase their passion for your cause. Let’s dig in to see what’s possible!
Managing difficult relationships/hard conversations
Working with donors can be difficult at times, and connecting their support to your mission can sometimes be tricky. Let us consult with you on how to set up those conversations to ensure success, and if you need to walk away from a relationship - due to misalignment - how to have that conversation internally with staff leadership.
Making an Ask
Let’s put into practice some strategies that will prepare you for that big ask. The big ask is the final piece of an ongoing cultivation/stewardship process, and it needs to come with a strategy that ties the donor’s interests (and legacy, perhaps) directly with the existing work of the organization.
Successful Corporate/Nonprofit Partnerships
We work with corporations to help them more effectively engage with various communities (LGBTQ+, etc.) and get the best ROI for their efforts. And we work with nonprofits to help them determine alignment with corporate partners and to ensure that the partnership goes beyond dollars. The nonprofit must put in place equitable strategies that will help them raise the most money and put the communities they serve as the central focus.
